Price increase for 2011/12
- The Eskom 2011/12 Tariff adjustment is the application of the NERSA MYPD 2 decision on 24 February 2011 and the NERSA 28 February 2011 approval of the 2011/12 Eskom tariffs.

The average price increases (including the environmental levy impact) per tariff are:
- Local Authority tariffs will see an increase of 25.34% annual average price increase (applicable from 1 July 2011
- Non-local authority tariffs (applicable from 1 April 2011)
- Residential tariffs will experience an annual average increase of 14.30% from the inclining block tariffs (IBT)
- Megaflex and other urban tariffs will experince an annual average increase of 26.95%. This is higher as it caters for the lower priced residential IBT tariffs
- Rural tariffs will see an annual average increase of 25.8%. These tariffs do not contribute to the IBT subsidy.
