Eskom Solar Insolation Data
Eskom Research has been measuring solar irradiance since late 2006. Eskom has installed measuring equipment at various sites in the Northern Cape and this data is now available to the public. The data is made available by permission of Eskom. The data is issued free of charge in the interests of developing the solar industry in South Africa, remains the intellectual property of Eskom, and must not be sold or used for commercial gain. Use of data in publications, either digital or hardcopy, must be cited and Eskom acknowledged.

contributors of data to Eskom shall be held liable for any improper or
incorrect use or application of the data provided, and assume no
responsibility for the use or application of the data or information
derived from interpretation of the data. In no event shall Eskom or its
