It is made up of multidisciplinary team of engineers, chemists, technologists and technicians.
Electrotek's expertise includes demand side management (DSM options under investigation include interruptibility, energy balancing, plant and process, energy auditing, optimisation load shifting, strategic growth and energy efficiency), dielectric heating applications, electrochemical applications, electric vehicle conversions, illumination engineering, impulse drying, industrial effluent and water treatment, infra-red heating, membrane technology, ozone and advanced oxidation technology, pinch technology and plasma heating applications.
In-house facilities that are available for demonstration or testing of customers products include dielectric heaters (radio-frequency and microwave), a portable plasma arc system, a medical waste incinerator, electro MP cell, dished electrode membrane cell and various electric vehicles.
