Ayanda Noah bags Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government award

Wednesday, 08 November 2017: Eskom’s Group Executive for Customer Services, Ms Ayanda Noah won the overall Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Award at the 2017 CEO Global Annual Symposium held in Johannesburg last night.
 
The Symposium brings business leaders from seven regions across the continent to engage in integrated discussions and participation that explore paths to growth and prosperity on the continent. This event recognises Africa’s most influential individuals, lifetime achievers, country winners and regional winners who become finalists for the Continental award.
 
Ms Noah said: “This award affirms that being a leader is meaningful when you positively impact those around you. I am encouraged to continue to positively influence my peers and everyone in business to do more in shaping our Continent through our businesses and government institutions. I am honoured to have received the award and I would like to thank CEO Global for this recognition.”
 
Eskom’s Interim Group Chief Executive, Mr Sean Maritz has congratulated Ms Noah for this achievement, stating that: “Eskom is proud to have Ayanda recognised as a leader that possesses extensive leadership skills. We are particularly proud of her dedication to her work and passion for growth and development of employees at all levels within the organisation. This affirms the critical role and expertise that women leaders play in the business,” he said.
