Eskom appoints new evidence leader in the Koko disciplinary hearing
Tuesday, 24 October 2017: Eskom has appointed Advocate Cassim Moosa as the new evidence leader in the disciplinary hearing of suspended Eskom executive Matshela Koko.

This after Sebetja Matsaung’s services as evidence leader were terminated on Saturday following an altercation with the Financial Mail’s Deputy Editor Sikonathi Mantshantsha.

The disciplinary hearing will resume on 23 November 2017. This is not only to allow Adv Moosa enough time to familiarise himself with the case, but also due to the availability of witnesses as well as to synchronise the diaries between the hearing’s chairperson and Koko’s advocate.

Advocate Moosa is a respected advocate amongst his peers, judges and magistrates. He has B.A. (Law) and LLB degrees. He is a senior Executive of the National Bar Council and he sits as acting judge in the High Court.
