Daveyton and Naledi's electricity supply interrupted
Monday, 6 April 2020: Eskom technicians have been dispatched to locate the fault and restore supply to customers in the Daveyton area. The power supply interruption is affecting the following areas in Daveyton:
 
                 Kunene Nicholas
                 Gumede
                 Vezi
 
In a separate incident, customers in Naledi, Soweto are also without the electricity supply following a network fault in the area.  Technicians are attending to the fault. There is no estimated restoration time for both outages at this stage.
 
All electrical points are to be treated as live at all times during the outage, for safety reasons.
 
Customers experiencing power outages are advised to call the Eskom Contact Centre on 0860 037 566 to report such faults. Faults may also be reported through the Eskom App, e-mail – customerservices@eskom.co.za or via SMS on 35328. Eskom technicians are operational during the time of the national lockdown and will attend to faults reported by customers.
