The DGSL (Dead Grid Safety Lock) is a technical requirement for customers on shared transformers wanting to connect their SSEG onto the Eskom network. There has been challenges with customers finding commercially available DGSL’s in the market hence the need for an interim solution to ensure safe SSEG connections.
