TRIP AT HERTZOGVILLE RURAL SUBSTATION LEADS TO LOSS OF SUPPLY
FRIDAY, 12 JUNE 2020:  A transformer trip at the Hertzogville Rural Substation resulted in a loss of supply to rural customers (HRW, HRL and HRP lines).  The incident happened at 02h10 last night.

While initially also affected by the outage, supply to Tokologo Township and Hertzogville Town has since been restored.

Technicians have been dispatched to the substation to investigate the cause of the trip and to restore supply.  Estimated restoration time is however still unknown.

Eskom apologises for the inconvenience and urges customers to remain patient and to treat all electrical installations as live and dangerous at all times.
