SUNDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2021: Eskom lost electricity supply to Tweeling in the Free State due to a fault on Tweeling Transformer 11.

Supply has been interrupted since 22:00 yesterday evening (11 September 2021). Although an estimated restoration time is still unknown, electricity users should prepare themselves for the possibly of the outage continuing into tomorrow evening.

Eskom apologises for the inconvenience caused by the supply interruption and thanks electricity users for their patience.

Eskom loses supply to Tweeling

The loss of three units today has forced Eskom to increase loadshedding to Stage 4 from 13:00 until 22:00 tonight. Stage 4 loadshedding will again be implemented at 08:00 – 22:00 on Sunday

Load Reduction – Gauteng

Loadshedding will be reduced to Stage 1 from 05:00 on Wednesday and continue until 05:00 on Saturday as the power system is still severely constrained

Eskom vindicated by court judgement on Econ Oil matter

Thank you for your support during the supply constraints; you enabled us to avoid loadshedding last night.

Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 this afternoon until 05:00 tomorrow morning, thereafter Stage 3 loadshedding will be implemented until Sunday morning
