Eskom’s eAuction platform provides a structured, digital way to set competitive prices when selling assets or awarding disposals. Only suppliers who have passed the commercial evaluation stage are invited to participate, ensuring a fair and well‑controlled process. Auctions run online, with authorised bidders competing in real time for items listed for disposal. The system sends automatic notifications, manages bid rankings, and ensures that contracts are awarded to the highest‑ranked, compliant bidder.
Who can participate?
- Eskom’s disposal tenders are published on the official Eskom Tender Bulletin.
- All respondents to the open market tender will be evaluated.
- Those who meet the commercial requirements will be invited to participate in the auction process.
How to register?
- Eskom will create a company profile for tenders that are successful and meet all commercial compliance requirements.
- Once the profile has been created, an automated link for one-time registration will be sent within 72 hours of receiving the email.
- Registration does not grant access to all auctions. Only companies that have followed the tender process and successfully met the commercial requirements will be linked to the relevant auction.
What is sold on auctions?
