Supplier Development, Localisation & Industrialisation (SDL&I) is Eskom’s framework to deliver on South Africa’s socio‑economic goals through procurement. It requires suppliers to contribute to transformation, localisation, skills development, job creation or industrial growth. SDL&I is mandatory in tenders and is evaluated throughout the contract lifecycle.
